About our keynote, Fr. Mike Schmitz

Father Michael Schmitz is a Catholic priest and Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries in the Diocese of Duluth, Minnesota, as well as a Catholic speaker and author. He is known for his internet presence, especially his YouTube videos.

Since 2015, Fr. Mike has been the primary personality involved in Ascension Presents, with free videos offering Catholic perspectives of cultural societal issues. On January 1, 2021, Fr. Mike and Ascension launched a new podcast, The Bible in a Year Podcast, which consists of 365 episodes, over which Fr. Mike reads the entire Bible plus prayer and commentary every day. It has become one of the number-one ranked podcast overall on Apple Podcasts.
