About the Newman Knights of Columbus

The Newman Knights began in November of 1985. Through the years it has been a great Catholic organization where men get together and contribute to the life of the Newman Center. It's a wonderful opportunity for Catholic men to help each other face the complexities of the modern world and to draw strength from our fellowship. We help each other to grow in holiness, develop virtue, and to learn the importance of the Catholic male witness in the world today. Newman Knights engage the college atmosphere with the teachings of our faith and contributions of time and talent to help build the Father's Kingdom here on the campus of NDSU. We've got a great bunch of guys who have made meaningful contributions to the life of Newman: this council has been a STAR Council every year running since 1999.
