Alfred Schwalbe

Alfred grew up in Beulah, ND and graduated from NDSU in 2020 with a B.S. in Animal Biomedical Sciences. During his time at NDSU, he was involved with Newman as Peer Minister and on-campus with Blue Key Honor Society, Ag. Ambassadors, Student Government, and the Yell Leader Program. Soon after his graduation, he and Nicollette were wed at St. Philip Neri's in Napoleon, ND. Following, they served as on-campus Missionaries with FOCUS which took them to Idaho and Nebraska serving Boise State and University of Nebraska-Kearney students. Alfred and Nicollette received two darling daughters, Amalia and Ruth, while in Nebraska.

After his time with FOCUS, Alfred became Campus Minister and later Executive Director of the St. Teresa of Calcutta Newman Center in Kearney, NE. Nicollette continues to serve college students as a Digital Missionary with FOCUS. We have loved St. Paul's Newman Center since our early years in college and are honored to be on mission at our alma mater.
