Hello! I'm Julia Pearson, the Development Coordinator at Newman.
I grew up in the lake’s country of Minnesota, and was raised in a Catholic household. I grew up with 4 of my best friends, my sisters!
Being the second youngest, I watched my older sisters navigate college and always heard about their friends from St. Paul’s Newman Center.
In my last semester of college at the University of Mary, I was required to move to Fargo for the last course requirement of an internship placement. While interning at Make-a-Wish, I was plugged into the Newman Center community and was also able to experience the warm environment my sisters had told me so much about.
After earning my degree from the University of Mary in 2019, I joined the team as the Development Coordinator and have been here since! My role as Development Coordinator encompasses Database and Gift Management.
Throughout the years, the Newman Center has become a part of my family. Through the staff, students and sacraments, I have experienced the breathtaking beauty of our faith and Christ centered friendships in more deep and devout manner. Through my work, it is my desire to invite you all into the captivating family that is the Newman Center!
