Hello, my name is Lawrence Mettler. I am a third-year NDSU student and I plan on graduating in the fall of 2021 with a degree in Range Science and a minor in Natural Resource Management. I grew up in Central Minnesota just outside a small town called Swanville. I enjoy sports, especially basketball, hiking, camping, deer hunting, disc golfing and spending time with my
friends and family. A fun fact about me is that I was a 1,000 point scorer in basketball and I am also tied for the highest-scoring game in Swanville history. If you want to play basketball, volleyball, or any sport, let me know and we can get a great group of players together. Having the opportunity to surround myself with people that helped me grow in my faith changed my whole college experience. Through the relationships I found at the Newman I was able to understand what true friendship and fellowship is. I know that being involved at the Newman Center will change my life forever, so don’t be afraid to get involved as soon as you can and wherever you can. If you want to find out about some of the opportunities that St. Paul’s Newman Center has for you or anything at all let me know how I can help you out at lawrence.mettler@ndsu.edu
