Hello! My name is Mikayla Wolfe, I am a junior at NDSU studying Human Development and Family Science. I was born in the Twin Cities, but when I was really little my family decided to move to the middle of nowhere Tioga, North Dakota. Growing up, I was involved in lots of different activities: band, choir, volleyball, basketball, track, FFA, drama club, student government, you name it! However, one thing I had no interest in pursuing was my faith. I didn’t grow up Catholic, but the Lord has blessed me with an incredible journey! This past year I was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Church. I am so thankful for the Newman Center for being my “home away from home”. Without the Newman Center, I know that I would not be as deeply involved in a Catholic community as I am today. We are blessed to have the best Newman Center in the world, so I encourage everyone to get involved any way they can!
I love to do just about anything, including hiking, hammocking, baking, singing, dancing, card games, board games, or playing very intense games of Mario Kart. If you ever need a friend to talk to or someone to hang out with, please reach out anytime at (701) 648-0420 or mikayla.wolfe@ndsu.edu. Know that I am praying for you! I hope to see you around campus and at the Newman Center!
